After the Storm

 

 

 If you follow me on Instagram then you know my story, if not then here goes: Feburary 24, 2015 i gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at 23 weeks.  I was blessed to have spent 2 beautiful weeks with her and she passed in my husbands arms March 10th 2015. This has been the hardest time in my life.  I carried her for 6 beautiful months and would give anything to have her back.  I gave birth early due to finding out i have what is called an Incompetent Cervix.  That is where you cervix begins to shorten before its time.  I was and still and devastated.  I love her more than anyone could ever know or imagine.  What i vowed to my daughter is that i will make her proud and show her how strong her mommy is.  This explains my absence.  I have been sidetracked from my blog in the past months and i vow to make this my priority.  So, i do this for all the women who have gone through the loss of a child or going through one.  I never thought life would continue for me and sometimes it still feels that way but i will continue on for my beautiful daughter Giselle.
